Voter Deadlines

  • Deadline to Register to Vote: October 7 (Boards open until 9:00 p.m.)

  • Early In-Person Voting:

    • October 8-11: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

    • October 14-18: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

    • October 21-25: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

    • October 26: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

    • October 27: 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

    • October 28: 7:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.

    • October 29: 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.

    • October 30 - November 1: 7:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.

    • November 2: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

    • November 3: 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

  • Absentee Voting By Mail: Begins October 8

  • Mailed Absentee Ballots Postmark Deadline: November 4

  • Election Day: November 5 (Polls Open 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.) If not returned by mail, absentee ballots must be received by your board of elections by 7:30 p.m.

  • To vote in Ohio, you must be:

    • A U.S. citizen

    • At least 18 years old on or before the day of the general election. (17-year-olds who will turn 18 by the date of the general election may vote in the primary election for candidates only);

    • A resident of Ohio for at least 30 days immediately before the election; and

    • Registered to vote at least 30 days before the election.ption text goes here

    1. Receive your ballot by mail and return it by mail.

    3. Early in-person voting at the Cuyahoga Board of Elections (be sure to check their hours to ensure they are open when you plan on going).

Democracy Forward describes Project 2025 as an effort to "enable a future anti-democratic presidential administration to take swift, far-right action that would cut wages for working people, dismantle social safety net programs, reverse decades of progress for civil rights, redefine the way our society operates, and undermine our economy."
